Storysharing® shares many principles and practices with other tried and tested programmes. We develop attunement (Intensive interaction, Hanging Out Program), and we use a multisensory approach (Multisensory storytelling, sensory stories). Our work also draws on tactile memory as used with people who are deaf blind, and is similar to the practice of Rachel Reese’s rich reminiscence (but with a limit on questions!).
